Every city council has its own rules for occupying the street. We know them and apply them so a permit never stops the shoot.

Application: 15 working days ahead if the street is occupied; 3 days for minor shoots
Cordoning: 48 h ahead in regulated parking zones, 72 h elsewhere
Limits: 80 m parallel or 40 m angled parking, maximum 5 days in the same area

What production managers ask us

How far in advance do I need to reserve parking for a shoot in Bilbao?

Bilbao City Council requires the occupation request 15 working days in advance and the area to be cordoned off 48 hours ahead in regulated parking zones (72 hours elsewhere). SQTM puts up the approved signage on time, collects the InfoBilbao notices from the City Council, sends photos and licence plates to the Municipal Police and leaves an attendant on site from the day before the shoot.

What does a parking reservation include?

Approved signs with counterweights, cones, printed and posted notices, photos and licence plates reported to the Municipal Police, removal of signs and notices when finished, and a 12-hour attendant from the day before guarding the reservation and controlling access. Additional metres and days are quoted separately.

Do you work in Gipuzkoa and Álava or only in Bizkaia?

In all three provinces. We are based in Bizkaia with crews that travel to Donostia-San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz and any location in the Basque Country.

Do you provide overnight security for locations and equipment?

Yes. Our location security assistants guard the set, equipment and production vehicles by day, at night, at weekends and on holidays at the same flat rate, and control access during the shoot.

Do you serve events, trade fairs and festivals?

Yes. Support staff, set-up and take-down, access control, cleaning and transport with driver for trade fairs at BEC, festivals, conferences and commercial shoots.
